Micro Gears!

One of the benefits of using extreme high resolution printers is to be able to achieve very small volume. We printed this gear with the entire assembly being almost smaller than a single quarter. The gear turns, of course. We did not try print this item assembled due to the fact that it might be stuck to another in the original design. If you want to design something like this and print in one-go without assembly. Make sure you leave 300-500um of distance between plastic parts to ensure that the part doesn’t stick together. However, printing separately you will achieve tighter tolerance and have the joy of assembling the item together!
